Once the integration is installed, link Home Assistant to your account with a pairing key: a one-time code you generate in the dashboard and paste into Home Assistant.

Connect your home

1

Generate a pairing key

In the HomiAgent dashboard, under Connected homes, click Generate pairing key and copy the key (use the Copy button).
2

Add the integration

In Home Assistant, go to Settings → Devices & Services → Add Integration, search for HomiAgent Bridge, and select it.
3

Paste the key

Paste the pairing key and submit.
4

Check the dashboard

Refresh the dashboard. Your home shows up under Connected homes as Online.
Pairing keys expire after 10 minutes and work only once. If Home Assistant says the key is invalid, expired, or already used, generate a new one in the dashboard and try again.

What happens next

Once connected, HomiAgent syncs your rooms, devices, and services automatically. If the connection drops, the integration reconnects on its own, and it keeps its own access renewed in the background, so you don’t need to pair again. It works without open ports or a public IP, even behind CGNAT.

Home status in the dashboard

In Home Assistant, the integration also adds a connectivity sensor that shows whether the link is up.

If Home Assistant rejects the connection

If the integration reports that its credential is invalid or expired, open Settings → Devices & Services → HomiAgent Bridge, choose Reconfigure, and paste a new pairing key from the dashboard.

Connect more than one home

Click + Connect another home in the dashboard and repeat the steps above. Each home gets its own pairing key.
